Firm History

Marcia C. Threadgill started her own practice on November 1, 1984 after several successful years working in the public accounting field. She hired her first CPA, Janet Vittek (now Janet C. Ryan) in May 1985. In 1991 Janet was admitted as a shareholder and Vice-President and as of January 1, 1992 the firm's name was changed to Threadgill, Ryan & Associates, P.C.

This requires open communication to reach an understanding of our clients' needs, thorough research, and sound analysis. Threadgill, Ryan & Associates, P.C. is dedicated to meeting these goals with high standards of excellence and professionalism.

Our Team

Marcia C. Threadgill, CPA - Managing Partner

Marcia graduated from the University of Texas and is licensed by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy as a Certified Public Accountant. She is a member of the Austin Chapter of TSCPA and serves as a committee member on the TSCPA Ethics Committee. She is an active member of the Central Texas Estate Planning Council.


Janet C. Ryan, CPA, CFP - Managing Partner

Janet graduated from the University of Texas and is licensed by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy as a Certified Public Accountant. Janet is a member of the Austin Chapter of TSCPA and has served on numerous committees for the Austin Chapter. Janet is also licensed as a Certified Financial Planner and is an active member of the Central Texas Estate Planning Council.


Staff:

• Cassandra T. Anderson, CPA - Casey is a Certified Public Accountant and has been with the firm for over 9 years. She graduated from the University of Texas at El Paso and is a current member of the Austin Chapter of TSCPA.
• Monica Reed, CPA - Monica is a Certified Public Accountant with a Masters in Professional Accounting and has worked with the firm for over 10 years. She is fluent in Spanish.
• Somika Rastogi – Somika has a Masters in Business Administration with specialization in Human Resources and an Associate Degree in Accounting. She has two years of experience in tax and bookkeeping. Somika is a student member of the Austin Chapter of TSCPA and is working on obtaining her CPA license.
• Sharon Babin – Sharon is our Administrative Assistant and has been with the firm for 3 years. She graduated from Louisiana State University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration.
